J.K.Rowling HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE
Bloomsbury First edition, twenty ninth impression 1997
Paperback. A rare 29th impression of the first edition as stated on copyright page - see photo.
The following points indicate this as being a relatively early printing of The Philosopher's Stone:
- Copyright credited to Joanne Rowling and not J. K. Rowling as on later editions.
- Young wizard to rear cover.
- Smarties Gold Award Winner label to the front cover.
These text errors indicate that this is a relatively early printing of The Philosopher's Stone:
Page 15, line 3 - “he tried to kill the Potter’s son” changed to “he tried to kill the Potters’ son”
The book is in very good solid condition with only light edge and surface wear to the covers.
The spine remains solid.
Typical light tanning to the edge of the text block.
No internal tears, creasing or inscription.
All pictures are of the actual book for sale.
