This listing offers a vintage S.T. DUPONT fountain pen, 5-1/4" and in gold plated (vermeil) sterling silver. This is a cartridge filled pen. It has a very long slender clip that is highlighted with a strip of black enamel running its full length. While the barrel is pinstriped (almost a Godron style pattern) the cap is plain and has a full name monogram to the right of the clip. There is some wear to the plating in the immediate area of the monogram. I note for accuracy that there are a couple of very closely spaced tiny dents on the top edge of the clip. Each side edge of the clip has marks,  "METAL" on the left side and a serial number on the right. Other markings on the base of the cap are "S.T. DUPONT (in script), PARIS (hallmark) 925" and two additional illegible French sterling hallmarks. Under the cap the nib is a medium point 18K with modest flexibility. The nib is marked 18ct  750  with a Dupont logo and another French hallmark. I dipped this pen and found it to be a very smooth writer. There is no box, paperwork or cartridges included.
