This Cross Screen (CS) filter is used to get "Star" reflections off of lights, water, jewelry, etc. You've seen those photos where streaks, or a starburst of light comes off of an image... THIS filter is how you achieve that! This filter can also be used as a very light 'diffusing' filter, to help "soften" portraits.

This glass filter allows for proper exposure and focus with all auto focus systems, such as those from Canon, Nikon, Minolta and others. Of course, this will also work on manual focus cameras; in short, this is designed for ALL lenses, on film or digital cameras, that accept 49mm filters
