A strand of powder glass African beads, made by the people of Krobo Mountain (Ghana, West Africa ), resembling old Venetian FANCY trade beads.

Made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then into moulds in order to create this nice looking beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of coloured glass powder and water, which is applied using a thin wooden stalk. They are cooked a second time to fix the décor.

Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from strand pictured.
