This lot contains two 12-inch single-sided 78 RPM records by Maud Powell, both labeled as violin solos, with piano accompaniment by George Falkenstein. They are also both on the Victor "Grand Prize" label, and, as pictured, left to right, they are:
Victor # 74026 -- "Finale" from Mendelssohn's "E Minor Concert, Op. 64," which is blank on the back.
Victor # 74326 -- Wieniawski's "Polish Dance - Kuwajiak (2nd Mazurka)," which has a copyright information decal on the back.
The records both look to be in about VG+ condition, still nice and shiny, with just a few light surface scuffs and scratches. They both play through without jumping or repeating on my Audio-Technica turntable, but with some lightly audible background noise, peppered with occasional clicking or popping. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment.
