Please forgive the photos, the bridges were assembled without glue and the trims are held on with small bulldog clips. These were made using a precision laser CNC machine and are manufactured from 3mm MDF with 2mm HDF trims.
These bridges are delivered as a kit with assembly instructions and ready for paint.
I suggest the use of PVA wood glue along with a few grains of table salt to prevent slippage.
Each vertical frame is made of 3mm MDF and has 2mm thick HDF decorative trims, the horizontal deck is also made of 3mm MDF. The wind bracing panels are made from 3mm MDF. All the components are secured with mortice & tenon joints that should be glued using a good quality PVA wood glue.
These bridges are designed to span a gap of up to 385mm (38.5 cm).
The Girder frames stand 110mm (11cm) high, the headroom between the wind bracing ad the deck is 99mm (9.9cm)
The deck of the dual-track bridge is 140mm (14cm) wide with an external width of 150mm (15cm).
