DESCRIPTION:  A large Masons Patent Ironstone Dessert Dish /Tray.

In the rare "Scroll Landscape & Prunus" pattern.

Showing a center field scroll with Chinese landscape with borders of flowers and precious objects.

The pattern is hand painted with overglaze enamels in shades of blue, green, yellow & iron red over a blue transfer printed underglaze outline.

The base is marked with the underglaze blue printed large crown & banner mark dating from 1813- 1818.

CONDITION:  Average surface wear, light scratches.

One underglaze firing flaw on backside base rim "last photo".

No chips, crazing, lines or repairs.

MEASUREMENTS:  10.75" wide & 7.75" deep.
