French Napoleonic Young Guard Plate This is the Jeune Garde shako plate. A similar one, without the crown, was used on the giberne for the Chasseur à pied de la Garde.

 

 This is a reproduction of an 1806 French shako plate, made from pressed brass. It is an exact copy from surviving originals.
