Start with a new printer

Paper Saver 103 ink is compatible with printers that use Epson 103 ink. The ink comes in a bottle for filling the ink tank in the printer.  You should start using Paper Saver ink with a new printer that has clean, empty ink tanks. If you put Paper Saver ink in printer that had regular ink in it before, the old ink will contaminate the Paper Saver ink so that it is no longer self-erasing. The mixture of inks will typically clog the nozzles in the printer and make it unusable. Put some Paper Saver ink in all tanks but most of the ink in the tank for black ink. We recommend at least one 140 ml bottle for filling the tanks in a new printer for the first time.

Compatible Epson Printers Include

How it Works

The ink works in ordinary inkjet printers, using ordinary paper.  The printing process itself is unchanged, but after the use the paper is not discarded or recycled.  Instead the paper is set aside and the printing erases itself.  Carbon dioxide in the air is absorbed by the ink and  chemical reactions take place that make the ink colorless. When this self-erasing is complete, the paper is indistinguishable from new paper and can be used again exactly the same way new paper can be used.  When the paper eventually becomes wrinkled after many uses it can be recycled as normal.

The color of the ink is PURPLE.
