Hand crafted in Bali of beautiful hand woven Balinese cotton Ikat from the village of Sideman. Shades of  green, purple & touches of orange make-up the beautiful pillow. This Ikat fabric creates the the sides, while solid hand woven green fabric forms the center; each pillow is then filled with 100% natural and organic kapok fiber from the kapok tree that has been grown and harvested in Bali and tufted by hand.

This unique pillow is as beautiful as it is functional and will look gorgeous in your home. Perfect for decor, meditation, yoga or just for lounging around.

Has a beautiful feel, and because it is stuffed with organic kapok fiber it will hold it's shape & doesn't make a crunching sound unlike similar pillows that use synthetic fiber fill.

Each pillow will have different variations in coloration and motif placement of the batik fabric, this is a reflection of the handcrafted origins of the unique fabric & in no way is considered a flaw.

About Ikat: Ikat weaving is a combination of resist dyeing and weaving.
In the Malay language Ikat means "to tie".
Bundles of cotton thread are tightly wrapped with raffia string in a predetermined pattern prior to dying. The raffia forms a block on the wrapped section of thread so the dye cannot penetrate.
Once the threads are dry and the colors set the bundles are then placed upon a simple loom in the desired pattern to be hand woven into these beautiful traditional textiles.
