Gritstone Type 1
Mot Type 1 gritstone is a granular sub-base material used in construction and road-building. It typically consists of crushed angular stones, providing a sturdy foundation for various projects. The gritstone's composition enhances stability and drainage, making it suitable for creating durable surfaces.

Deliveries are made on large tail lift offload articulated vehicles (not crane offload), with manually operated pump trucks placing the pallet as near to your property as is deemed safe. Delivery and off-load can only be made if there is suitable access and a flat level surface, free of gravel / uneven paving etc.
The driver will offload the pallets as near to where you require it subject to it being safe to do so. If the ground is unsuitable, pallets may be left on the roadside/kerbside at the driver’s discretion.
Undelivered orders will incur a re-delivery charge if due to poor access or missed delivery. It is the customers’ responsibility to inform the company if there may be an access problem, and suggest an alternative site for offload.
The company will not accept any liability for damages to property caused during delivery whereby the customer has instructed drivers or have made requests for goods to be placed anywhere other than on the kerbside. Where a delivery cannot be made on the due date as a consequence to access issues we will attempt a re-delivery at your request - an additional delivery charge will apply.
The delivery vehicles must be able to park in an area where the delivery is to be made; they cannot park in any restricted areas or in restricted parking zones. If a kerbside delivery has been made it is the customer’s responsibility to move the product from the place of delivery to the place required.

SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are shown in the table below.
The cost of shipping is determined by selecting the correct ZONE for your postcode. The cost is to the right of the table.
The shipping costs are per bag.
Therefore if you want 2,3,4 bags etc, then the price for shipping is 2,3,4 or more times the amount applicable to your postcode. There are NO concessions for multiple purchases.

We will send you an offer applicable to the number of bags you require
You accept the offer.
We then generate an e-Bay invoice that includes the number of bags you require and the total shipping costs.
You pay the e bay invoice as normal.
Provided you INCLUDE your landline and mobiles, the order will be dispatched.
Your order WILL be delayed if you fail to forwards your details. The couriers booking system does not complete until they have received your contact details. (How can they phone you to let you know when they're delivering if they don't have any numbers)

The cost of the bag delivered by the pallet network would be £39.36 + zone 2 @ £50.60 +VAT. Grand total: Add the two together!. Two bags would be double that figure. Unfortunately there are no discounts for bulk purchase via this delivery method, as each and every square foot of space on the trucks is accounted for and charged out.
