AIRFLO SKAGIT DRIVER FLOATING 600 GRAIN HEAD

The Skagit Driver sits slightly lower in the water helping to better load the rod when making a cast. What's more, its unique density slows down the swing, which keeps you in the game longer. Armed with Power Core technology and printed welded loops in varying colors for easy identification, this head's legit.

Airflo's Skagit Compact has been the standard for all other skagit style spey heads. This year the Skagit Compact is reborn in the all new Skagit Driver.

The new Skagit Driver is 23'-25' depending on size, and specifically designed to make casting sink tips and larger fly patterns easier for two handed casters.

The Skagit Driver is the culmination of thousands of hours of design, observation, and field testing. The Driver sits lower in the water helping to better load the rod when making the cast and reducing the chance to "blow your anchor".

The Airflo Skagit Driver is available in 450-750 grains in 30 grain bumps.

Features welded loops on both ends

Front Taper: The aggressive front taper allows for maximum turnover power for sink tip rigs.

Belly: The belly is a moderate length for easy casting and the ability to reach on the longer casts..

Rear Taper: The condensed rear taper makes for quick and easy loading and maximum shootability.

For nearly 70 years, the majority of fly lines have been made from PVC — a naturally rigid plastic that requires the use of plasticizers to make PVC lines functional.  Unfortunately, these plasticizers are anything but a permanent part of a PVC fly line.

You see, from the minute it’s made, a PVC line begins breaking down — leaching plasticizers into the environment and contaminating you and the waters you fish. Once it has shed enough of these chemicals, it becomes prone to cracking, and sometimes, even failure.

As if all that’s not enough, as it decomposes, PVC is known to release Dioxins — a group of lethal, bio-accumulating toxins. Consequently, it’s virtually impossible to safely dispose of a PVC line.

All of which is why Airflo has never used PVC to produce our lines.  Since 1984, our lines have been made from Polyurethane — an inert, stable, recyclable material that requires no plasticizers, performs better and lasts far longer than PVC lines.

CRYSTAL FLY SHOP IS PLEASED TO BE AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR AIRFLO FLY LINES AND ACCESSORIES

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: You are responsible for paying any customs duties/ taxes, which vary from country to country. WE WILL NOT FALISIFY CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORMS, SO DON'T EVEN ASK. There are many reasons buyers should not ask sellers to engage in this activity: 1) It's illegal. 2) Your item cannot be insured at full value if it is not declared at full value, making you financially responsible if it is lost, stolen, or damaged. 3) Items that are under-declared are much more likely to be seized by customs officials. 4) Asking a seller to participate in customs fraud is against Ebay policy
