Japanese Artist... Born in Tokushima in 1957, TANIGAWA Yasuhiro graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1981, he entered the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts and served as a teaching assistant and a part-time lecturer in the same school.　He had several solo exhibition. From 1993 to 1996, he was the illustrator of Miyao Tomiko’s serial novel "Cleopatra" which was published on the Asahi News. By using various materials and techniques, a rich, delicate and unique style was created.
Currently holds numerous solo exhibitions at Takashimaya and Mitsukoshi. Tanigawa's colorful, delicate and unique style attracts peoples’ eyes.
