A vintage musical box which plays The Barbier of Seville, the musical element is marked and made by Le Carillon, Switzerland. I believe the box outside is made of leather and hails from Egypt. The box is in working order, but unfortunately, Etsy's video feature doesn't allow sound, but please send me a message if you would like a video with audio of the music box playing. I believe there would have been a cover/insert originally which would have been placed over the musical compartment. Please note, there is a musky smell to this piece.

CONDITION

General age, wear, tarnishing, marks, surface wear to leather and the metal strip on the lid is bent. Missing insert/cover. This piece does have a musky smell.

Please note this is a vintage item and will have signs of use and wear.
