This set of (3) handsome, imported, hand crafted, decorative crates, constructed of solid wood are heavy and durable to last for generations. Each chest is purposely distressed or "antiqued" to give the appearance of a vintage, heirloom, Christmas decoration. The long side of each crate is stenciled IN RED with "Merry Christmas" in long-hand script. The ends and bottom of each crate are plain and every crate is stained for a lasting finish. (You may choose to further protect the finish on these crates using any number of "board butter" beeswax, or clear wood protective coatings to fill in scratches due to seasonal use.) The (3) crates "nest to minimize storage space.

· Each crate measures 15.5" x 11.5" x 9.5" and weighs just under 8 pounds. The combined weight of all (3) crates packed for shipment is 24 pounds total with shipping dimensions of 20" x 16" x 12".
· Each crate is purposely "distressed" at the time of construction to recreate an "antique" finish. Being purposely "distressed" could mean light scratches, worm holes, pits, divots, knots, etc., to elicit the appearance of a gently worn, but beloved, Christmas holiday decoration.

· To prevent drying and potential cracking of the wood, it is recommended that these crates be stored in a temperature and humidity controlled environment if possible. If not, it is recommended that the wood be treated with "board butter," beeswax, or any number of CLEAR wood protective products. Wipe with clean, lint-free cloth after use and KEEP DRY AT ALL TIMES.
