A pretty Bloor period Derby porcelain dessert plate from a bespoke service, enamelled with a rich apple green ground band framed in gilt and finely painted with a botanical floral specimen of a rose, named on the reverse in red script, along with small scattered insects. A small reserve within the green ground is painted with an armorial of the coronet of a marquess over the letter "B". Gadrooned rim and red Bloor Derby stamp to the underside, c.1825.

It measures 22.2cm (8 3/4") wide and 2.5cm (1") high.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair and very minor handling wear.
