A very fine & rare Russian Solid silver amazing Cigarette - Match Vesta - Lighter - case box. Made by Viktor Vasilevich Savinsky in Moscow around c.1886 and having a compartment (gold gilt) for cigarettes, a separate Vesta (match case) with striker and automatic feed wick. So this is also an antique "Lighter" which makes this an everything in one device and crossing many areas of collecting. The wick automatically feed's into the bottom with it's separate compartment. Earlier examples have the wick sticking out. This ingenious device is like none other I have ever seen. 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 1" and weighs 184 grams which is nice for this size. Everything works. We showed it to a lighter collector who also specializes in Match Vestas and tobacco related items and they said this is beyond rare and appraised around $5500. No chips, cracks or repairs.
