For many years darbuka players wanted to be able to play their darbuka while walking on stage or among crowds of people at special events such as weddings. Here at Arab Instruments, since we live and breathe darbuka 24/7, we have developed unique darbuka straps that are very easy to install on the darbuka and taken of at the end of the event, with no need to remove any screws or to drill holes in the darbuka.

Our Khaki Darbuka Strap Set Includes:

• Premium nylon nape strap to hold the darbuka (no need to attach to any screw on the darbuka).
• Premium nylon waist strap to balance the darbuka and secure it.
• Premium buckle made by Nexus in order to handle heavy weight.
• Carry case for the darbuka straps.
• Darbuka key-chain with sparkling stones attached to the case.

Instruction:
1) Place your darbuka on table or any other stable surface

2) Take the nape strap (the one that comes with no closing buckle) and wear it on your nape, and adjust the height of the strap to your waist height. Once you have adjusted the height, place the strap around the darbuka head (from one side of your nape with the sponge protection and from the other side the darbuka head )

3) Take the waist strap (the one with the buckle), open the buckle and resize it. Encircle your waist and the center of the darbuka and close the buck le. Pull the strap from the other side of the buckle and attached the strap to your body as much as you can. Adjust the darbuka in your hands and make sure it is stable on the playing position .

DON'T OPEN THE BUCKLE IN ANY CASE UNLESS THERE IS A SAFE SURFACE UNDERNEATH THE DARBUKA.
