Since 1978, Mikli has announced a presence upon the fashion world that had an inherent sense of provocation and evocation. An artistic sense

with a allure-focused consumer understanding, Milki sustains a creative mentality unlike most. A designer with a firm grasp of opticianry and an

ingenious fashion sense, Mikli's frames always met a notable degree of fashion-forward prowess and an insistent presentation of quality.

Claude Montana began his career in jewelry. Developing pieces in a papier-mache format with semi-precious stones. Although, it wasn't until the

mid-1970s that Montana found his grounding in the uses of leather.

His fashion-forward intrigue and designs launched the design house "House of Montana" in 1979.

In such an establishment, it gained him the attention of other pioneering designers, affording him something of a

celebrated designer status of

the 1980s.

Collections of Montana Hommes brought distinguishing repute and eventual notoriety to the effect of gaining interest from design houses like Lanvin. Although, Montana's outlandish designs were oft-ill

received, resulting in financial disaster. Yet, such outrageous and defiant designs are what attracted designers like Alain Mikli, it presented ground for a promising collection. Such promise led to a

successful collaborations. To such an end that some of the designs ended up being associated with noteworthy faces like Grace Jones.

The C.M. 87 846 Turban is one of a few collaborations between the two fashion houses. Rare by design, and HIGHLY coveted among fashion and eyewear aficionados.
