Waldorf Inspired doll.. Isla

This beautiful handmade Waldorf inspired doll needs a new home.

Isla measures about 50 cm and is made from all natural materials. She can sit or stand if supported (so cute).

Isla comes with 4 outfits as shown in the photos (valued over $ 150) The clothes are easy to take off and put on, hand made and knitted and included in the price.

Her blue eyes are embroided, the hair is mohair and can be arranged in many ways very soft to the touch and feels so real.

I will make more outfits for Isla and will be listed separately.

I put lots of time and love into the making of my dolls. While I'm making dolls I can see how they 'come to life' during the process and I think about the joy they can bring to the person (little or big) that will hug them. They are very special to me and a great company.

Waldorf inspired dolls are so special and I think not only as a toy but more importantly as companion....or at least this is for me.

I have learnt that Waldorf dolls are also a great therapy for elderly people, especially if they suffer of dementia or alzheimer's syndrome. They are so cuddly and warm.

I have started this craft not long ago and it's helping me so much to calm my anxiety. I would like one day to share this passion with people that like me are a little lonely .
