L.I.L.Y ABSOLUTE BY STELLA MCCARTNEY is
inspired by Stellas love of contrasts, and is feminine and masculine, dark and
light, woody and floral all at the same time. It is an addictive fragrance
which features notes of Truffle and Pepper, Patchouli and Lily of the Valley.
Stella McCartney Lily Absolute is a sophisticated fragrance which has a unique
quality, making it all the more personal for the wearer.
As one would expect, the glass bottle that accompanies Stella McCartney Lily
Absolute is chic and elegant, with gold and crystal detailing with an edgy
finish.
Stella McCartney is the maker of this fragrance. She is a fashion designer in the United Kingdom. She is the daughter of two celebrities. Her father is Sir Paul McCartney, who formerly performed with The Beatles. Her mother was Linda McCartney, a photographer and musician. She discovered her interest in fashion at age 13, when she created her first jacket. She worked in several positions in the fashion industry before launching her own collection with the Gucci Group in 2001. Her designs are available in more than 50 countries throughout the world. She released her first fragrance in 2003

Absolute explores Stella’s love of contrasts, playing the masculine
against the feminine, dark against light. Mysterious and refined, it fully
expresses the woods and lightens the floral notes to create a new, deeper
fragrance.
CUT-CRYSTAL INSPIRATION
The company says that the bottle evokes ‘a balanced
sophistication’ with its ‘luxury reflected in the gold-tinted fragrance and
radiant, multifaceted glass’. Interestingly, it was apparently inspired by
English cut-crystal vases.
The 50ml L.I.L.Y Absolute bottle also has
environmental credentials, being enclosed as it is in Forest Stewardship
Council (FSC) certified packaging with a golden oval brushed across its front,
accentuating the arty and elegant design codes
Fashion designer Stella
McCartney presents L.I.L.Y Absolute, a new version of her L.I.L.Y perfume from 2012, as
the alchemy of light-dark and masculinity-femininity contrasts
This new interpretation takes the natural
basis of the original, deepens it and turns it into an extremely sensual
perfume for affirmed and self-assured women. The fragrance is darker, richer
and more intriguing with increased doses of truffle and moss.
The composition begins with truffle flavored
with black pepper. The middle layer includes sparkling accords of lily of the
valley, pink pepper and ambrette seed, laid over dark base of oak moss,
patchouli, dry blonde woods and amber.
