It is very hard to get it inside the handle, so if you are interested, I recommend you to buy it as soon as possible.
Make sure that the tip of the hammer handle is larger than the insertion slot (hitsu) of the hammer head.
All smiths' hammers are handmade. So the hitsu size is slightly different.
And each of the high quality handles made of natural wood is handmade, so the shape is slightly different.
To fit them together, the handle tip must be larger than the hitsu.
(Use Wedge (Kusabi) to fit the hammerhead if its hitsu is smaller than the tip of the handle.)
