This is camphor burl veneer. The wood impresses with its silky shine and strong coloring, which ranges from deep dark red to reddish brown to yellowish green. The veneer image leaves an imaginative impression and is characterized by cloud-like structures which are enlivened by small grain cores and fine lines. In Asia, oil and other essential substances are extracted from camphor wood, which are also used to make perfume. Even as a veneer, the wood still retains the intense smell of camphor. Please note that small open spots and fine hairline cracks can sometimes occur in burl and root wood! Veneers are only in rough cut, sometimes a small piece is missing on the edges or there is a fine hairline crack! The edges are not yet cut straight, please take this into account when processing, fine hairline cracks at the end or on the sides can always occur, small growths in the veneer - these are not damages - but occur naturally in the wood, the structure can also change slightly from sheet to sheet. The dimensions are given with minimum and maximum values. The product serves as raw material for various woodwork.
