Fully functional 1960's BATTERY OPERATED BOMBER PILOT airplane w/box as shown. The plane is in excellent, undamaged condition. It works perfectly: (1) Propeller spins, (2) Mystery Bump & Go Action, (3) Plane then stops and cockpit canopy opens, (4) Pilot then turns head to the right, (5) He then raises his arm up to signal take off...three times in a row, canopy then closes and process is repeated. An absolute joy to watch the movements of the pilot. Very cool! This is a "MADE IN JAPAN" toy listed in Don Hultzman's book, COLLECTOR'S GUIDE TO BATTERY TOYS, copyright 2002, second edition. It is pictured on page 34. It is a 1960's era toy made by the KO Co. It has a rarity of 5 on a scale to 10 being the rarest, and a value of $400.00 in C-10 condition without the box. The original box is included. It is in good condition. This would make a fine addition to any collector of B.O. toys. Two large batteries are included.
