Ramshorn Snails are a group of small freshwater snails found around the world. The majority of Ramshorn Snail species are quite small, at around ½ to 1 inch being normal for mature snails. They come in several colors, including brown, red, spotted, a delicate sky blue and others.

Very peaceful low maintenance pretty water snails, very quick and easy to breed laying eggs on tank walls, plants decorations etc. Snail population will very quickly grow as can breed continuously in the right conditions, eg, water temperature, lots of food, etc

Great addition for ponds/aquariums as they help to clean algae from decorations/tank walls/substrate, etc, and also eat string algae. Dead plant leaves, fish waste, fallen flakes and pellets, and soft brown algae are also great food sources.

Ramshorn Snails generally leave live plants alone in favour of dead leaves and rotting tips. They like eating Watercress plants bought from local supermarkets in salad bags.

You will receive 5+ mixed baby Ramshorn snails 2-6mm in size, bigger if available, if any are not alive upon delivery, please contact me, and new snails will be sent 😊 please allow time for snails to wake up and de-stress after the journey A small bag of fish flake food rich in calcium will be included aswell as some algae flakes.

Ramshorn snails and small food bag will be sent by 1st Class Royal Mail Mon-Wed 2pm to avoid delays and being stuck in the postal system over the weekend/Bank Holidays, etc
