FLO-PAK Polystyrene Packing Peanuts
FLO-PAK loose fill is made of 100% recycled polystyrene. Its lightweight S shapes flow for perfect protection and quick packing. FLO-PAK is cost effective, doesn't chip or break so shipped items arrive safely. All FLO-PAK is given an anti-static bath so it does not cling to clothes or products.
Commonly known as Packing Peanuts used to fill packing voids which helps prevent breakages when shipping and storing delicate items. It is a lightweight product keeping shipping and storage costs low, while still offering a high level of proven protection.
They are shaped to interlock when compressed and free flow when not compressed. Polystyrene peanuts may be used and reused many times with little or no loss in protection for the product shipped.
Packing peanuts are small pieces of Styrofoam used to fill up space, provide cushioning, and help prevent shock in moving boxes. They can also be used as filler so objects don't slide around and are great for use in between a second layer of boxes for extra protection. Moving professionals consider packing peanuts one of the top packing materials because they can be used as a filler to keep objects from sliding around.
They are a low cost solution, and offer more versatility than bubble wrap as you can completely submerge an item, and they can be used for virtually any size parcel without having to go down the route of finding different sized cardboard boxes to house them. They can also help to insulate an item, making it less susceptible to fluctuating temperatures.
They can be used for anything from electrical items to ornaments, paintings, and other delicate things that you want cushioned. They are spongy and they fill in the gaps, meaning your item is less likely to bang around and suffer damage. You simply pour the packing peanuts into a cardboard box and submerge your item.
