Lot of 6 Antique Velvet & Silk Jewelry Presentation Boxes Lewy, W.R. McFadden.


The brown box is plastic or bakelite and made by Rocket Jewelry Inc. Made in USA.


The white cardboard silk lined box is from Lewy Brothers Chicago. Ervin Lewy was a Diamond expert and unfortunately died on the sinking Titanic ship. It’s believed to this day that his diamonds are still inside the captain’s safe on the bottom of the ocean.


The long purple velvet brooch or stick pin box with metal push tab is from W.R. McFadden 407 Summit St. Toledo, OH. This box does show velvet wear along the top and sides. No holes, but the fabric is a bit worn.


The other purple velvet box is a cufflink display box with both the cream silk lining and outer purple velvet both in very good condition.


The small peach velvet colored and silk lined ring box is from Bullocks.


The burgundy velvet and cream silk lined box is unmarked and has 2 metal hooks on the inside lid for possibly holding a necklace or watch chain.


All velvet boxes have a metal base. All kids open and close smoothly and evenly.
