Notes: Remanufactured Power Steering Pump -- The operating temperature within the engine compartment exceeds the tolerance of the OE seals throughout the hydraulic system. Over time this results in the hydraulic fluid "varnishing" within the steering unit, hydraulic lines and pump. This "varnishing" results in contamination throughout the system. Maval utilizes high temperature seals and recommends a complete replacement of the steering system in order to avoid contamination related problems. Refer to instruction sheet packet 656080. Unit it is equipped with a electronic solenoid, this part is included.
