Bill Hensley (1916-2002) 

  Born in Oklahoma, Hensley studied at the University of Oklahoma and the Wichita Art Museum School, with instructors including William Dickerson and B.J.O. Nordfeldt. Following commission work for the McCormick Armstrong printing company, he entered the Air Force as a Korean era war artist, then settled in Denver, exhibiting with the Denver Artists Guild, Denver Art Museum, Wichita Art Museum, and Chappell House watercolor shows.
