vintage 1940s EUBANK handmade character DOLL Tom Sawyer's BECKY THATCHER 6"

Six inch character doll is Becky Thatcher a character from the Mark Twain book, "Tom Sawyer". Doll is dressed in a pink floral print dress with white knickers and apron. Doll has applied hair (appears to be mohair). She is made of painted bisque.

Attached is her original paper tag identifying her "EUBANK DOLLS Becky Thatcher (handwritten), Hannibal, Missouri". 

Dolls measure 6" tall.

Eubank Dolls were made in the 1930's - 40's in Hannibal, Missouri. The company later moved to Springfield, MO. This Becky Fletcher character doll is clean, no smokey odors, fading or bug damage. There is some browning on clothing and paper tag. This doll is a recent find from a Kansas City estate.
