An antique 19th century British salt glaze stoneware Duke of Wellington jug in excellent condition. It has little to no wear despite the age. It depicts a satirical representation of the Duke of Wellington modeling a grimace. It has a scrollwork handle with the spout being the brim of his hat. It is unmarked at the bottom. It would make a wonderful addition to someone’s caricature jug collection! It is 7 1/2”H x 8”L x 4”W in size.
