Nice first edition, first printing hardcover in overall Very Good condition. Copy appears to be unread, possibly gently read once. Pages are clean and unmarked. Binding solid and tight. Cover is clean and sharp with no visible shelfwear. Dust jacket is clean, showing light edge and surface wear, with chipping at head and foot of spine and flap fold corners, a few tiny tears, nothing overly dramatic. Text block edges are just lightly toned, while black topstain remains color-rich, velvety sharp and blemish free. The only significant imperfections: previous owner's bookplate on front flyleaf, a single page has a small cluster three faint little specks, and there's a small superficial impression along bottom edge of back cover. Otherwise no major cosmetic dramas. All told, a clean, attractive, well-preserved copy that has aged nicely and evenly. Jacket wrapped in clear archival sleeve.
