Royal Albert Hall -  Centenary 1871 - 1971.

Slade Hampton & Sons framed set of 5 gilt bronze medals, commemorating events at the Royal Albert Hall during the first 100 years.  

Medals show Queen Victoria and Prince Albert,  The 1871 Opening Ceremony,  Jimmy Wilde's last fight ( 1921), Sir Henry Wood's last promenade concert ( 1944) and the British Legion Festival of Remembrance ( 1945).

Set is mounted in a glazed gilt wooden frame - 21cm x 16cm. 

For overseas buyers I am happy to send the carded medals alone ( i.e. without the frame ) to reduce postage costs - please contact seller to confirm wishes.

Whilst I always obtain proof of posting, claims for items sent by regular mail and subsequently lost can be protracted and are not always successful. For valuable items I am happy to send by Signed For or Next day Special delivery, at additional cost, on request
