Mold consists of 2 metal plates with hollows in the form of halves of different shapes, 6 of each: Cockerel, Bunny, Fish, Elephant, Bear, Penguin. Plates unite with clips on the ends, and syrup (or chocolate!) is then poured through the holes. After the hardening, the plates are separated and you can see the real candies.
Lollipops are an old-fashioned sugar candy favorite. You can vary the colors or flavors to suit your tastes.
Here's the classic recipe:
Ingredients: - sugar (0,5 cup); - water (2-3 tablespoons); - citric acid (a small pinch, optional); - vegetable oil for greasing the form; - sticks.
The given amount of products is sufficient for one portion using the same form here. The optimal amount of water should be 4 times less than the amount of sugar. You can skip adding citric acid, but it can end up with a slightly sour flavor. So cover the sugar with water and add some citric acid. Put on a small fire and poach, stirring frequently, until it becomes caramel-colored. Grease the form with oil and pour the syrup into it. A few seconds later, stick the skewers into the solution and let it cool down for about half an hour. Open the form and take the lollipops out.
