Major Del R Harrison served in WW2 with Calgary Highlanders, prior to war with
South Alberta Regiment from 1935-1939.After WW2 discharge he was a CSM rank.Company Sergeant Major.
OCTU Calgary Highlanders Officer Training School 1941 .Temporary Officers Commission.
Served Europe Theatre Holland WW2.
Post WW2 Served PPCLI 1950s Korean War. Captain Rank in Korea in 1951.
1958 Part of HQ Prairie Command.
1958 sent to Canadian Army Staff School Kingston Ontario as Captain.
Was in Jordan 1960-61.
Attained rank of Major prior to 1963.
