For sale is a extremely rare store display poster/display insert from the 2022 Vans x Sailor Moon collaboration event. The collaboration featured many store displays that were not intended for distribution to the public. For sale in this listing is one of the stick-rack vinyl displays used throughout the store. This specific display measures around 6" x 12" (please refer to measurement pictures). After photos were taken the display was carefully rolled up and stored away in a temperature controlled area. These posters are licensed by Toei, meaning they are an official collectable. This is a rare opportunity to secure this piece for a serious Sailor Moon collection, store displays are among some the hardest pieces to get your hands on (I would know, being a serious Trigun collector myself).
These displays were only distributed to participating Vans locations during the collab event, there are only around 470 Vans locations throughout the US and not every location got the same displays. By company policy, the displays were supposed to be disposed of after the collaboration ended, some stores even going as far as slashing posters to ensure people couldn't recover them from the trash. With all that in mind, the amount of these displays in circulation is undoubtedly extremely sparse. I was lucky enough to have a local location with a manager who would rather see the displays find a home rather than the dumpster, so they let me and others take them after the collab was over.
These displays are a sort of pseudo-magnetic, they stick to interchangeable display boards across Vans stores but will NOT stick to a traditional magnetic surface. With that in mind, if you plan on wall displaying this item I'd highly recommend framing it, as tacking or sticking something this rare to a wall could risk damaging it. They are made of a nice vinyl screenprinted material. There may be minor marks/imperfections from their time in-store, so please be sure to carefully review the provided pictures.
