Large Victorian Lever Rim Lock With a Key

Quite a nice antique cast & wrought iron door rim lock, dating from the 1800's not with the original key

This could be described as a front door lock, I'm not sure you would want to carry the key around with you. 

This would be a lovely addition to an 1800's period door.

All the old paint has been stripped and has been finished in period black not waxed 

This is in original working condition, I have left it as original as possible, we have had it cleaned inside

and polished the brass

The lock measurements are  approximately 15.4 cm x 11.6 cm x 2.3 cm 

Lock center is 6.8 cm 

Handle center is 11.7 cm

This has some lovely history that would keep a dinner party going for a few more hours  Just ask ?
