Foil And Sabre, A Grammar Of Fencing By Louis Rondelle 1892 First Edition.

While fencing hasn't always been the most popular sport, it has always remained in my mind as a symbol of gentlemanliness, agility, and mental skill. It is simply awesome in its expression.

This is a classic look at Fencing By "MAÎTRE D’ARMES" at the Boston athletic association and the Harvard University fencing club, Louis Rondelle.

The book itself is not in great shape but has many very good elements. The pages are very clean with no foxing or Browning. It seems this book was printed on high quality paper, as even the illustrations seem to have full paper tissue guards (or at least the frontispiece).

The binding is an overall good condition despite being a little loose especially from the spine. The top of the spine has some heavy fraying and the bottom has some light fraying and wear.  The cover and it's gilt / illustrations is still in good condition and not faded. Hinges are cracked but attached.
