Good vintage condition as on the photos!

Good anniversary men's watch brand "Victory" - with a passport and native box. The model was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. No signs of wear. The chrome-plated traditional case has a very interesting and elegant shape - there are diagonal notches around the glass. Beautiful deep blue with a glossy sheen dial with gold incised thin graduations, the number 50, a red star and an inscription. Movement 2602 (15 ruby stones). Overall dimensions 37*35*9 mm. Beauty!

The Pobeda watch brand was conceived and produced in connection with the anniversary of the victory of the USSR in the Great Patriotic War, starting from 1946, and the name itself and even all the technical parameters were approved by Stalin himself (in 1945).

The marking of the mechanism of this watch sounded K-26. It was assembled on the famous French caliber R-26, which was sold by the watch company Lip, and it was this mechanism that turned out to be very, very successful both constructively and in terms of operation - it was possible to make one winding for two days, which was rare at that time .

   In those days, buying a Pobeda watch was a great success, since they were just starting to be produced and were not on sale everywhere. Usually in such a mechanism there were 15 stones made of artificial ruby, and the balance had no shockproof properties, besides, the dial had not a central but a side second hand.

   It was a popular brand among the citizens of the USSR, and at that time it was already quite easy to buy a Pobeda watch, since the supply in the distribution network was sufficient and the price was not high. Therefore, they were very popular watches, they were often used as awards for merit of various kinds.
