A very fine pair of Georgian 1st period Dr Wall Worcester scalloped edge 7.5" plates.

Hand painted in the Old Mosaic pattern in beautiful enameled imari colors with rich gilt highlights.

The mosaic pattern is painted in eight panels, overlaid with florets and a central medallion.

The backsides of both plates are decorated and marked with the pseudo  Chinese mark.

The plates date app. 1765-1775.

Both plates are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, showing little to no wear.

Very minor glaze imperfections.
