Despite what the title implies, the sonnets are entirely Browning's own, and not translated from Portuguese. Mayer was a well-known artist and illustrator known for his silhouette style art. Includes 45 full page illustrations. 5 ½” x 8” and 110 pages. The book is clean and tight. DJ is sunned and has edge wear.
