The adventurous growth, which leads to the beautiful grain, not only has positive aspects, but also leads to above-average movement in the wood. With continuous care you can slow down and minimize the "work" of the wood a little, but the wood will always "work". As a general rule, the larger and thinner a one-piece product, the greater the likelihood that it will tend to crack and warp. We process the goods with all the necessary care, especially when drying, but even this cannot completely prevent the natural movement processes. Each board is tested by us and leaves our warehouse 100% flat and flawless. Smaller cracks that have already occurred are carefully filled by us. Please understand that we cannot assess minor cracking and deformations, which can also occur as a result of the natural process mentioned above, as a material defect.

• Our products are all carefully oiled: not only for care purposes, but also to give them a special shine. If you want to keep that shine, rub the olive wood with a little cooking or olive oil from time to time and then wipe dry.
