HIGH STRENGTH SELF ADHESIVE

The VELCRO® Brand Basic range presents an economical alternative to the premium range, offering a hook and loop solution that doesn't require a high cycle life. Manufactured in Belgium by Alfatex® as part of Velcro Companies, the Basic self-adhesive range caters to low cycle environments. It features a general purpose hot-melt glue applied to the back, enabling it to be easily stuck onto a wide variety of substrates.

This self-adhesive fastener provides reliable adhesion and a strong grip, suitable for applications with a low to medium cycle life. It is an excellent choice for schools, colleges, the print industry, and other sectors that require a cost-effective fastening solution without compromising on quality. Additionally, this hook and loop tape is user-friendly, thanks to its self-adhesive backing. Simply peel off the release paper, apply firm pressure, and it's good to go.

For smooth surfaces and indoor use, we recommend Alfatex® fasteners with a general-purpose rubber-based adhesive.

Application Instructions:

1. Prior to application, ensure the surface is clean and dry.
2. Peel the tape from the fastener and firmly press it into place.
3. The adhesive will reach its maximum strength after 24 hours.

Please note that these fasteners are not suitable for fabrics, dashboards, flexible vinyl, rubber, or underwater use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause damage to the fastener. The Economy display low cycle tape is designed for use within 500 cycles, while for a longer lifespan of 1,000 cycles, we recommend using VELCRO® Brand PS14. (Note: After 1,000 cycles, a 50% loss in performance may occur.)
