Does the sound machine turn off automaticially? Can I play sound uninterruptedly?
Yes, you can set the timer to "ON" to allow the sound/light working continuesly, or set the timer to 30 min, 60 min, 120 min to let it stop after a specific time.
Can I play the sounds from a SD card/USB flash or cellphone?
No, the model S1 has neither TF card, USB input, nor the wireless connection with mobile phone.
Does it have a built-in rechargable battery, or can it only be used plugged in?
The sound machine must be connected to wall adapter, the AA battery is for clock only.
When setting the alarm, how do I distinguish AM from PM ?
You can't. It is a retro style 12-hour clock. You'll need to move the alarm mode selector to ringtone-mute icon every time after alarm goes off, to switch OFF the alarm completely, and switch it to ringtone or sunrise alarm mode when you go to bed.
