The HD-S is an effector that combines three types of distortion circuits to create harmonic swells that go beyond the mere concept of distortion.

Fumio Saegusa, the creator of the Univibe and many other legendary machines, has developed a new effector that's neither the usual Fuzz nor Distortion pedals.

The three distortion circuits can be freely combined to create a wide range of sounds, from traditional fuzz pedals to crazy sounds and other uncharted territory. It can be used for guitars as well as bass and synthesizers.

Part of the Nu: tekt series is that you can build it yourself, but the HD-S kit requires no soldering and comes with all the tools you need. It's easy and quick to assemble, and you'll enjoy the fun and satisfaction of creating your own sound.

* The combination of three distortion circuits creates a "swell"

By combining three distortion circuits, it controls not only aggressive distortion but also filter-like changes. In addition to the four control knobs on the panel, there are three trimmer knobs in the top cover of the housing. This trimmer knob balances the three distortion circuits to create a wide range of sounds, from orthodox fuzz to intense. You can use it on guitars, bass, synths, and more, and it's a distortion effector you've never heard or used before.
