Description

From Navajo Silversmith Robert Johnson. Robert was formerly trained by Master Navajo silversmith KIRK SMITH over 35 years ago. Roberts Old Style Silver work is very heavy and features many similarities and style ideas from the work of his teacher.
Robert- "Through an acquaintance, I met the late Kirk Smith during the summer of 1986, Kirk mentored me on his style of silversmithing.  Kirt taught me Traditional Navajo stamping with an antique finish,  sometimes high polished pieces all of which started from bracelets, earrings, Concho belts, rings, squash blossoms, hair tie’s and so forth.  It was an exciting time of my life learning a new trade and being able to support myself and my family."
