Count Dracula (F. Langella) travels to England, where he moves into a dilapidated castle. There he meets the ailing Mina (J. Francis), her friend Lucy (K. Nelligan) and Lucy's father Dr. Seward (D. Pleasence), who invites his new neighbor Count Dracula over. After Mina's health got worse and she eventually died of anemia, Mina's father, Prof. Abraham van Helsing (L. Olivier), attending an exhumation. The reason: Allegedly, the deceased Mina has several people on her conscience. Soon Dracula is held responsible for all events. But the cunning count has made Lucy docile and wants to leave the country with her. There is a showdown on a ship...
