Vouchers The Order Council in the Association of Nationally-minded Soldiers

In 1921, in the absence of a foundation of an official decoration in memory of the First World War in the Association of Nationally-minded soldiers attacked the already intended foundation of a war coin. As an institution within this association of nationally minded soldiers, the Order Council was formed.
The Order Council of the German Honorary Coin of the World War spent 1921/22 emergency money to cover the first incidental expenses and to create a capital. They were sold as coupons, were colored and artistically designed. The designs were provided by the animal painter and book illustrator Moritz Pathe (1893-1956), whose name is on the front. They could be used as an official means of payment for veterans 'associations, but in reality they were more donation receipts and collectors' items. The emergency money was sent for 2 marks (nominal value 200 pfennig each) in a bag and shows on the front of the medal, back city views from the separated after the World War (Strasbourg, Metz, Danzig, Thorn, Hadersleben).
