DESCRIPTION: 

Set of 4 wonderful bas relief art pottery tiles by husband and wife potters Richard & Natalie Surving. They operated Surving Studios in Middletown, NY until 2017.

The large tile is by Richard and is dated 1998. It measures about 6 x 6" and features a female nude tumbling, perhaps in water.

The three smaller tiles are by Natalie. They each measure just under 4 x 4". Two of the tiles feature a spider on a web, and the third features leaves on a branch. They are signed "Natalie Surving" on back. The black spider is dated 1995, the lighter colored spider is dated 1997, and the leaves are dated 1998.

All four tiles are in very good to excellent condition. The tile with the leaves does have a small chip on the underside and a few corner nibbles (see last 3 pictures).
