5L KEVLAR CORDED V-BELTS

5L Section Wrapped V-Belts with a coloured dry cotton cover, the belts have a large diameter of KEVLAR cords, impregnated with special compound which eliminates the need for re-tensioning and offers High Tensile Strength along with non-extensibility and a high resistance to shock loads. The belts are covered with a double wrap of special fabric to ensure high resistance to wear and tear and reduced slippage while clutching. Manufactured as part of an extensive range of specially constructed belts tested and approved to suit many OEM specific applications with attractive aesthetic qualities - coloured "dry cotton" - type wrap is synonymous with the belts used by major quality OEM machine manufacturers.

Fiber belts are made with high-strength fiber cords for heavy duty applications and severe duty cycles. these belts have a drier cover fabric that was designed to increase flexibility and withstand severe clutching action, bending or twisting, heavy loads and backside idler applications. Fiber belts are oil and heat resistant this construction is also used in military armour and bullet proof vests. As your stock belt wears down, it gets thinner and thinner. this, in turn, will start to decrease your top speed. A belt will keep this from happening
